street twin installed
well i just got finished installing my street twin last sunday. the install went great thanks for all your help. First thing i noticed was that it grabs faster and harder than stock. however after getting used to it its deff street able. i waited 500 miles before opening her up, ok maybe like 450 but close enough
. while running through the gears i quickly noticed that this thing really grabs hard (i expected this). the only chattering is sometime when starting in first, hopefully it goes away with a few more miles
the only thing i am concerned about is that while off the gas in gear it sounds like the rear is wining anyone else experience this??? This started while I was breaking so I know it isn’t from smacking the gears at 5500. i know the 10 bolts days are numbered now
hopefully it holds for another 6 months so i get the $$$ for a 12
everything else is great. i deff recommend this clutch to anyone who has the cash. now i just need more money so that i can get the mods to take advantage of the street twin

Be careful with it until you get the rear and driveshaft replaced. Aparrently, street twins are notorious for breaking anything behind it.
Don't expect your track times to get better unless you're on slicks. The thing is impossible to slip off the line like a regular clutch. I went from low 1.9x short times to a best of 2.10 just from the clutch.
It's kinda cool barking all four gears down the track though.
Edit: I have NOT run at the track with the new combo. That would equal a quick death to my rear. It's scary enough banging a gear on the street.
