Strange 12bolt
Re: Strange 12bolt
You shouldn't need anything
Just swap your brakes on assuming the rear doesn't come with brakes...and I can't think of anything else. Make sure you have at least an inch of back and forth play in the driveshaft before you bolt it in, and if the rear isn't full, you'll need about 2.5-2.75 qts of fluid and a bottle of GM LSD additive if it has the Eaton posi.

Re: Strange 12bolt
hey i did the literally the other day... the only thing i needed were new bushings (old ones broke) and the Rear comes with a U-joint replacement, you might need a shop to press it in your driveshaft, for the 3" aluminum, it would be easier just 2 clips, the 2.5" steel needs to have the plastic nubs melted all the way through to release the u joint, 10-15$ at a shop. overall the install wasnt that bad, the 12 bolt was definatly heavier. lol...
