Stock Torque Coverter Question

I am doing the infamous a4 to m6 swap, and im in the process of removing the auto, and in the instructuions it says to remove all the torque converter bolts and push it as far as possible into the tranny. The problem is, I have never done anything with trannies and I can't seem to possitvely identify the stock torque converter (how embarrasing) So if anybody could describe what it looks like or a picture would be even better that would be great!!!!!! Thanks a million.
