Its a GM 10-bolt, 7.5/7.625" (all 4th Gens)

It has a limited slip differential (RPO code G80 - standard with all V8 models, optional on V6 models).

Gear ratios for 94-02:

Automatics came with either 2.73 (RPO GU2 - standard on V8 models), or 3.23 (RPO GU5 - "performance rear axle" option) gears.

6-speed standards came with 3.42 gears.

Standard is a 3-channel ABS system (one sensor on top of differential center section) and optional with Traction Control (RPO NW9) is a 4-channel system with a sensor on the brake backing plate on each side.

Standard on all V8 models with disc brakes. Drum brakes on V6 models, with an option for discs.
