Is my rear going dead?

Hi i noticed in the recent snow storm that my car is only spining the right wheel. Is the posi going dead? What can i do to fix it or do i need to change the posi. I dont want to through money in a junk 10 bolt. I already spent money with 3.73 gears and a ta cover. Recently i did a burnout just to see what was going on and i noticed that the right wheel was spining and after about 5 seconds or so the left would start to spin. Thanks for any help.

Driving on snow or ice, its possible that the one wheel that was spinning didn't generate enough force to cause the clutches to engage in the posi. If the situation also exists on dry pavement, it is probably failing.
