I'm going to have a drive shaft made for my 9 inch swap so I can keep the yoke that I already have. One question is how many splines are on a stock trans slip yoke? I gave the driveshaft shop the tranny specs but they said they needed to know the spline count.

I counted 26 and there is a little flat spot where there could be the 27th

All the aftermarket slip yokes I could find on the net are 27spline. I just want to get the right count so I can get the shaft made. thanks fro the help

 

I ordered a driveshaft a while back and requested a 27-spline yoke. I counted 27 splines on my 96' T56 output shaft. Your A4 should have the same.
