Stock Cluctch and Flywheel Part Numbers
Stock Cluctch and Flywheel Part Numbers
I have a 1997 Camaro SS. After switching my stock clutch with a Spec II one I have problems like rattles on the pedal and since my car is has the stock engine with minor bolt ons I've decided to install back an original GM clutch. Also since the flywheel is surfaced several times in order to solve my rattle and chatter problems I want to replace the flywheel too.
What I wonder is if there is a difference between stock and SS clutch and flywheels and and differences between lt4 ones. Following is the parts I'm planning to change and their part numbers as far as I could find. Are they the all that must be changed or do any need any other parts?
1994-1997 stock flywheel 10125379
1994-1997 stock clutch disc 12551309
1994-1997 stock pressure plate 10207027
1994-1997 clutch release bearing 10085246
1994-1997 clutch release bearing collar 10111569
1994-1997 clutch release fork 12523312
1994-1997 clutch pilot roller bearing 14061685
