Question sticking trany

98 Z28 6spd convertible, My clutch and trany opp fine under normal driving conditions, very smooth. However when I get on it the trany will either stick in gear or will not let me shift into another without some force. Also the clutch pedal will not come all the way back. I know the clutch disengages because of the change in the engine RPM'S. Any help will be appreciated.

It's nothing that a new clutch, flywheel, pressure plate, slave cylinder, and master cylinder won't solve.

The clutch system in the 98s is horrible for any kind of performance driving exhibiting the symptoms that you describe.
That's why GM has upgraded all of the involved parts except for the flywheel.
If you want to drive it hard you will need to upgrade.
