speedometer. help!

hey guys, im taking on a new project. im buying a 67 camaro and putting ing in my lt1 drivetrain. ive a a bit of research and have a good idea of what to expect. one of the common things with the swap is the issue of getting the speedometer to work as the t56 has vss. my question is, since i will be putting in the covans classic 6 guage panel with the elecrtric(not the mechanical) guages, will this eliminate that problem? and will it be as easy as just connecting the wires? thanks guys
