Smoked my A4 today, Who is well know for building 4L60E's and will back it up!!

I have a procharged Z28 LT1 with a 383 stroker in it. I dont really go to the track alot just once in awhile. Running 14lbs of boost and will difinatley be adding more boost to it .

I was taking my buddy for a ride in it and on my way back I got into it alittle and I lost OD and 3rd is slipping really bad... I knew it would happen sooner or later, so now its time to upgrade.

I have been tossing the idea around, converting over to T56, but I do enjoy just being able to relax and not shift the car. Also the consistancy of an A4 is great! Not that I cant drive a stick, but the car is putting down alot of power now and is quit a hand full as it is. I could only imagine it being T56.

Who is well known for building these 4L60E's. I need some really strong that will take the abuse of this D1SC procharged 383. I might upgrade to a F1 Procharger soon

We build the best 4L60E available. Don't take our word for it, though. Try a search for "CPT" or "Cahall Performance Transmissions". There's been atleast 2 posts in the last week from a couple more satisfied customers. If you have any questions, please feel free to give me a call. 302-250-1202

Thanks,
Frank

YeahI have a CPT trans also... it took the abuse of my old motor no problem. Frank just went thru it again recently to upgrade the output shaft and just give it a quick going over. Its now sitting behind my new SR 355 LT4 awaiting some brutal hard launches
