SLP clutch w/ a 150 shot?

I have the stock clutch in the car now! I need a new one pretty soon! Will the SLP hold my current power and say....a 150-200 shot?

no, you need a spec 2 or 3 clutch.

Ok well I'm looking to only spend around $400-500 as that is all I can right now! Are there any other clutches out there in this price range? Also how long will these last? I know it's not going to be as long as the stock clutch, but hopefully at least 50k or more? Any input on that?

yo may be able to find a used mcleod twin disk for that amount. but the lt4 PP and single mcleod should do the trick as noted above.

Jason Cromer sells the LT4 PP for around $210. The SLP PP is just the LT4 with holes drilled in it for less mass (I'd rather not have the holes so there is more contact area).

As far as the clutch itself, the suggestions above are about the best you'll get. Centerforce, ram, and a few others have been known to have problems so pick carefully.

the regular LT4 clutch is not going to hold up to a 100 shot!!! i have seen RAM clutches do very well in LS1 cars but have yet to see many LT1 guys use them.
