Slipping tranny

Hello,

I have a 95 Z28 with almost 50,000 miles on it as of now, and ive noticed now when I go WOT the tranny will occasionally slip from 1-2 and almost always slips from 2-3. I do race the car every once and while but other than that I drive it normal on the streets and it shifts fine then, the slipping only occurs during WOT.The tranny feels nowhere how it used to now, could this tranny be on it's way out? Im going to change the fluids soon and see if that helps, but if not what could I be looking at here? Any comments would help alot.

Thanks

If the fluid level is correct, and the filter is not blocked, you likely have a dying trans

drop pan plan to change fliud and filter , If less that a tea spoon of material in pan proceed and change the PCS also (presure control solenoid)If you change this PM me , if there is more than a tea spoon and or if its metalic then just put in new filter and drive easy and order a new trans . SEE SIG
Hope this helps any questions just PM, Yahoo IM (performabuilt )or call number in sig

The stock 4L60E suffers from several pressure and holding power short comings that contribute to what you're feeling. This is often a common complaint that we hear before we build a performance transmission. We have PROVEN ways to fix them. Do some research before you settle on a transmission builder, if you feel it's time for a rebuild. Check the backround of whoever you have build it for you. If you choose a builder from this board, you might want to do a search and check with their past customers (if you can find any).
If you check out our backround, you'll find many satisfied customers with 12, 11, 10, and even 9 second 4L60E's. We offer a 4L60E that will take whatever you want to throw at it for $1400.
Please feel free to call me if you'd like to discuss anything further. 302-250-1202

True research and ask questions but considering the mileage I would do the fluid and PCS change first there may yet be alot of miles left in there yet with such low mileage the PCS is a likely culprit particularly if this condition came on suddenly
