Slave cylinder rod bent?

I got my T56 out of my 97 Z and noticed the rod on the slave cylinder was bent. Is that supposed to be straight or be bent?

Thanks
Bass

mine is to. it works great tho. I just assumed that the clutch was slipping and the previous owner thought that bending that would let the clutch grab more.. even tho that does not help seeing as its hydraulic and self adjusting. I put a new clutch kit in and new pressure plate and bolted it right up and it all works great even with the bend.

Mines bent too. I asked about this a long time ago and got no responses. Still works fine.
