My Firebird has been sitting for months now maybe a year or so.....
To make it short i hit a speed bump to fast (unmarked) and broke the brackets that sustain the slave clutch cyl......2 little aluminum looking knubs
Does any one know what these are connected to. i was told i may have to replace the tranny.....are these connected to my bell housing???? can i just replace the bell housing....????

Re: slave cyl ????

on the bellhousing man...check around and try to find a new one...shouldnt cost more than a hundred or two...if that...it bulges out on the drivers side...and has 2 studs where it slides on to and then mounts.

check Billy Grahams camaro salvage or TA creations maybe? or GM if youd like

Re: slave cyl ????

The slave cylinder sit in an aluminum cup, that slips over two studs in the bell housing. What "nubs"?

Also, please post only engine-specific topics on "LT1/LT4 Engine Tech". Moving to "Drivetrain".
