I need an automatic transmission for my 1999 T/A WS-6, found one that came out of a 2000 v6 Firebird, will it be a simple swap out? I assume they are identical 4l60e's, but i wanted to check before I bought it. Thanks

 

Well maybe it isn't such a simple question.....but after further research I found that although the v6 firebird does have the 4l60e, the bell housing, internals, and input shafts are all different compared to one that came from an LS1 car. So unless someone can tell me otherwise, that's how i will understand it.

So on that note, does anyone have a 4l60e that came out of a transam or z28 for sale?
