Thats because you are not running a Hurst Shifter base- See there web site for what it fits, it says will NOT fit non-Hurst base. I just saw a guy on LS1tech do this too and he never read the application

Check some more f-body sites, look under 'Group Purchases', and you may find it cheaper. Or supporting vendors?
It's a good investment

Ive had both BTW, I thought the Ripper sucked compared to the one I had for another car. For some reason the f body shifter they make isnt as good as others they make. The Pro 5.0 is much better.
