shifting problem

car was running fine untill i had the converter loosened up to aprox 3600 stall then i was running into problems with the computer and stall wall issue, sent out the pcm to get that fixed, now when i manually shift it, the car will bounce the limiter in first still after i shift into 2nd. and i shifted at 6200 rpm the limiter is set at 6800 rpm, but if i let it shift by its self it shifts fine,

what could be the problem

i also lost converter lockup

Do you happen to know what the WOT shift points are set at in the tune.

It might be time to send that transmission to us. This is really starting to sound like internal transmission issues.

I wonder where he did get it from a PRO RACE 4L65E 1995 model? Does not sound like yours or ours.

hold on, absolutly no problems shifting before i had the converter restalled, all they did was loosen up the converter and change fluid and filter(which i do once a year)

i want to say that they are set at 5800 when its in drive, it shifts fine in drive,

now today when i manually shifted to second at 6200rpm it shifted every time,

You need to spend some time with tuning , Sounds like theres some issue there, Stalls can be confusing for the PCM
