Re: shifter help

took a long look at the mechanics today and figured it out...the metal piece that connects to the button slides along a half metal and half plastic piece, where the lockout and everything is at...well on my car the metal and plastic arent flat across so i trimmed the plastic some in the groove for neutral and overdrive and it works fine
thanks
