S60 Owners, driveshaft length?

I ordered an S60 and it finally came in. I ordered a driveshaft as well and it came as a shaft and yolk, I was under the impression it would be one piece. Anyway, I was wondering what the length of it should be so I can take it to a shop and get it fabbed together then put it on? I've read it's 1.625 inches than the stock shaft, can anyone else verify this? Thanks!

You need to measure your specific installation to see what length is required.

do you have the slip yoke?

put it in the trans, slide it out a half inch or 3/4" support the rear so wt. is on it and measure from center to center on the u-joint then go to the driveline shop....your probly looking for a truck stop or truck repair place.
