Id try D&D, that where I get my rebuild part from. http://www.ddperformance.com/ They may want as much as the dealer though since they are a Tremec/ Borg Warner dealer.

can someone confirm that the reverse lockout is a soleniod and adapter piece? D&D says its just the soleniod, but from what it looks like on google images, it looks like its 2 pieces.

Reverse lockout is the solenoid and a 90 degree adapter piece at the rear of the tranny. The skip shift(cags) solenoid is just the solenoid and located around the middle of the tranny. The solenoids may be the same P#????

yeah i know which ones are which, i have the skip shift soleniod on my tranny, and where the shifter is, just a hole. But from what your saying, the reverse-lock out soleniod is 2 pieces (soleniod and adapter)?

Yes, the solenoid screws into the 90-deg piece. The solenoid ends at the base of the hex in the pic below. Its a long time since I took the one on my spare T56 apart, but I believe the 90-deg piece has a spring loaded pin that blocks the shifter from going to the reverse position, unless the solenoid releases the pin.
