Replacing a AT trans. for a Manual in 2000 WS6

I bought my car at a good price and absolutly love it. all except it is an automatic and not a straight shift. I have the chance to by a wrecked transam for a good price. I was wondering how fiesable it would be to trade out my automatic for a manual. What are all the parts i will need and how easily will they go into the car? What will I have to do as far as the computer is concerned? I guess do any of you no of any reason this whouldn't work or any suggestions you could give. any help is appriciated. Thanks
