replacing input shaft

how hard is it to replace the input shaft on a T56 in a 95 camaro. what all is involved.

You have to disassemble the entire transmission. You will also need to measure the end play and make sure you have the correct shims when putting it back to gether. On a scale of 1-10 for a newbie I would say this would be an 8. You will need snap ring plyers, the correct tools, and of course the Manuel.
