Is replacing driveshafts difficult?
Is replacing driveshafts difficult?
I have an aluminum driveshaft waiting to install on my Z. I was wondering if it can be done on jackstands/ramps. What all do I need to disconnect? (torque arm, axle, etc.)
Thanks.
Thanks.

All you need to do is unbolt the bolts clamping the u-joint to the yoke on the front of the rear end. Then slide the driveshaft out of the transmission. Reverse to install the new shaft using the torques that Rich mentioned.
