reluctor ring?

reluctor ring?

Im doin a rear end swap from 323 to 373 w/ eaton posi. Will I need a reluctor ring so that my abs lights dont come on?

well if your original rear had one for the abs then yes you will

If your car came equipped with traction control, then your reluctor gears are located out at your axles near the disc brake setup. Non-traction control cars have the reluctor mounted in the differential.

There's an article in Pontiac High Performance magazine, October and November 2006 on rebuilding the 7.5" 10-bolt. They used an Eaton, and show how to mount the ABS reluctor from the old carrier.
