Rearend moaning in turns + braking.

It's just a deep moan - that's the only way I know to explain it.
Don't know what is causing this - but it seems to only happen during a certain few 90° turns while also applying the brakes - and sometimes while just turning 90°.

It is an LS1 rearend in a '94 Camaro.

TIA.

Also just a note - I had the cover off just about 3,000 miles ago on it and everything looked pretty good. There was minimal metal on the magnet - nothing much - just very small shavings. All the gearing appeared to be in good shape as well.

Also - there is no rear end "whine" at all - just this eery so often moan. Almost sounds like it could be something with the brakes - but it only happens in sharp turns.

No I didn't - I just used Mobil1 Synthetic Fluid.

Why/how could not using that additive make it moan intermittently? Just out of curiosity.

Its just the clutches making that noise,id say its intermittant because your running syn.Thats probably the best answer i could give you.Ive just seen it a bunch of times over the years. If it doesnt have that gm additive 9/10 it will make that noise.
