Rearend Fluid suggestions

96,000 on the car....always had to changed with normal fluid and GM limited slip additive.

Should I just keep going with what I always have?

On a side note, where is that ABS sensor on the rear end....is it easy to get too?

If by normal you mean conventional gear oil, I think you will be fine with that.

In fact, Auburn (which came in the 93 to 98) warns against using the synthetic....

Re: Rearend Fluid suggestions

Synth is a rear end is waste of money with one exception. The diff in a car that is road raced can get very hot and synth will tolerate high temps better. However, if it's a clutch type LSD, synth will likely be too slippery and interfere with proper operation.
