Rear on the way out
Rear on the way out
My front seal gave out, unknown to me, and lost all the fluid. I do not know how long because I never saw any fluids in my driveway or parking spaces etc. to give me concern.
So the bearings probably got fried, hearing noise from the rear after refilling with fluid. Other than the noise the car is driving great.
I figure if I have to go for a rebuild I might as well bump up to 3.73's.
I am wondering if anyone in the eastern Long Island area has experience with a good shop to do this work. I spoke to a couple of transmission shops but they left me not feeling comfortable with their capabilities.
Thanks
