Re: Rear Sway Bar - Aftermarket Rear end

Moser is known for this. I just got off the phone with chicagot/a and his uper 2 bolts backed out and left the bottom one as teh only bolt holding the torque arm, well that bolt tore out of the torque arm and left him with a scrap torque arm. Im wondering if those holes can be drilled through and longer bolts added with nuts and lock washers put on????

Unfortunatly i was waiting on a strange and was worried about teh dates being changed and pushed back over and over and OVER. So i was talking to the tech line and they told me oh ya we expect em next monday, id call they would say oh next week now, but i wouldnt hold your breath... I told em i didnt want to order till they got the posi in cause i didnt want to get stuck on hold forever. Well i call up today monday, to ask if they came in last friday, well i guess they did, but they only order 10 at a time and they were all goen already. If i was told they order so few i woulda went in and paid cash up front for it (they are 15 minutes from me) well then i found a guy locally selling the same posi unit used but low milage! I call up strange to find out what to check to make sure it works and now they are not only holding on the posi unit but the center section casting as well! Now they are talking early sept at the earliest. I was gonna go with the moser but after all the talk of them whining (although chicagotransams car doesnt whine much at all) and teh problems with teh torque arm mount bolts coming loose i dunno what to do. All i know is that a company like strange running around in circles with excuses on why they cant get a rearend together and not having ANY axle options for a 4th gen F-Body is absolutely rediculous. Especially since their big excuse is always the eaton posi being redoen by US Gear for 33 splines. Call me crazy but moser has LOTS of 12 bolt eaton 33 spline posis ready to go at any minute. Center sections too. I really wanted a strange cause i thought it was a higher quality peice, but after seeing how they run the buisness im weary of giving tehm my buisness, i dont feel they have earned it, and even though they do make the best rearend in my eyes i will have to go with another company after my problems. What really makes me mad is i waited on strange for about 3 weeks now, calling every few days to see what was going on, and now my buddy got his 12 bolt in and running already, and im sitting here with a wad of $ and no rearend.

Anyone know if currie makes a quality 9"??

Sorry to hijack your thread rob just a lil upset.
