Which rear fits both gen?

where can I find the axel lenth of the 99 camaro as well as the 67. Im looking to put some gears in my 99 but dont want to build a rear that is weak, so looking to upgrade. In about a year or so I will be putting the ls1 from the 99 into the 67 and dont want to buy another rear if at all possable. I dont mind a little fab. since I plan to swap in coils into the 67 and get rid of the leaf. Dont want the wheels to be 2' outside the wheel wells either though. Anyone know which rear would be a good choice for a 450-500hp car?

TIA

12 bolts. 10 Bolts will most likely break under that load, especially if drag raced. As far as years, I don't know. Look around to see if anyone sells them for a 67.

It won't work. The rear in the 99 is about 8" wider than the 67.
