auto driveshaft the same length as m6? 9 inch? 1350 yoke?

I have a 96 z28 with the t-56. I was wondering if the automatic transmission has the same length driveshaft as the t-56. I ask because I am getting the 9" moser housing and axle with a ford center section and will get the 1350 yoke with the stock driveshaft for now(I'm running out of money, hehe). If I remember correctly I read that people were getting a u-joint conversion to get the stock driveshaft to fit into the 1350 yoke and the driveshaft would still fit the 9 inch rear end, but I thought that this was with the automatic transmission. I have the t-56 and am not sure if it will work the same cause I don't know if our driveshafts are the same as the automatic. Also I think I have read that there are long and short 1350 yokes and I don't know which one to use with my t-56 and stock driveshaft. Thanks for any help.

The best thing to do is get everything in, measure how long of a driveshaft you need, and order one exactly that length.
