After i'm cammed and spraying around a 100 shot, i already determined on ls7 or stage 2 spec clutch w/ stock flywheel, but i know i'l be needing an upgraded rear end .... what are you guys running with a modded setup such as this??

thanks

Stick with that stupid tough stock 10 bolt so I can watch the parts fly out of it in my rearview mirror!!! I'd say go with a 12 bolt setup, because you're not going to want to throw the money out for the 9". The 12 bolt will hold up to those mods. Just a 100 shot? You are trying to run with....a skittle?

If you do a search you can see various opinions about the GM 12-bolt and the Ford 9", which are the two basic choices. I am running a 12-bolt with Eaton posi.

A 12 bolt for you car just makes alot more sense in my opinion. I believe a 9" would be way overkill for that setup, and it will soak up some extra power.

Depneds on your budget, I would go with a 12 bolt and at last resort a 9 incher! The 12 bolt has proven itself in the F-bodies and will surely take one hell of a beaten before giving up!
