Rear end cover

I was looking to buy a t/a gridle for my car and came across this part# TRD-8402 @ Summit. check it out and lets hear what you think.


I'm going to buy it

It indicates it is for a 8.5" 10-bolt. Won't fit. That is the rear axle assembly used in the late 70/early 80's F-Bodys. The 4th Gen uses a 7.5" 10-bolt.

didn't know that, I thought a 10 bolt was a 10 bolt

Wow, that was a close call. I guess that's why we have Moderators.

Why don't you try the supporting vendors? I saw a MAC cover for around the same price and you can get a TA for a little more...both 10 bolt 7.5s. Thinking about one myself..much stronger than stock and has a drain hole for easier fluid changes.
