question for speedo issue

Cool question for speedo issue

My speedometer reads 15 at 80 mph on the interstate. tip meter and odometer both work just slow because the speedometer isnt working right . any ideas on what to do to fix it. I have checked the speedo gear and it looks good what next please help

Try finding access to a scanner that can read data. Drive the vehicle with the scanner on it and watch vehicle speed on the scanner. See if it's closer to actual speed or speedo reading. This will help narrow down the cause.
