Today, I started out to the drag strip. The ride is about 125 miles, about 15 miles from the house the car started making noises. The first was a noise, that every time you took off it sounded like a u-joint and just started today. The next was a noise that every time you went over a bump it sounded a clicking noise coming from the drive shaft, it was rather loud.

A little history, the car has a new moser 12 bolt, with 3.9 gears and a carbon fiber drive shaft. This was all done this past winter. I have raced the car before these mods and typically I drive hard - it's not babied.

Any ideas or things to check would be great. So far I have gone under the car and checked the u-joints, they appear fine, no play, the nuts were tightened to the correct torque specs, they have less than 1000 miles.

When the rear end first went in I thought there was a lot of play in the rear end. You can move a wheel fair amount before the other wheel begins to move.
