question bout my 10bolt?

i have a stock 10bolt w/ 3:42s still on my 97z28 m6,i have mt drag radials but i dont launch hard,also a cc503,lts and bolt ons.you guys think my 10bolt will be ok if i only race from rolls?

Should be fine. But racing from a roll is like masturbating, no matter how good you are at it, its still not real.

I think roll racing is a good way to see how much power an engine really makes since you eliminate other variables.

im just trying to stay alive until a get a 12 bolt,hopefully by summer

if you plan on doing a lot of racing i would go with the 9inch. they seem to be quieter if beat on them alot. most 12 bolts get a little noisy after 1000 drag passes. most 10 bolts seem to hold up in the 12 second range. the faster you go the greater breakage chances

yea i definetly agree roll races are for ricers,but i rather race from a roll for now than not being racing at all and staying home with a broken 10bolt

Just keep in mind that a 10 bolt can break on a 1-2 or 2-3 shift with traction. I've seen it happen a couple of times.

oh damn i better be careful then,anyone recommend a store to buy a 12bolt for a good price?

Just check out the Sponser/GP section of this board often as there are vendors that have sales on rears a few times a year.
