question about mid-west!

I have been hearing nothing but good things about mid-west.

I want to get a 2800stall converter. I checked out the raceconverters.com, but someone said in another thread that the actual site is down and this site has wrong prices.

What is the true price of a 2800Lock-up converter and what other goodies do i need to buy to have this installed (ex:tranny cooler). If u want to know my setup, i just have a k&n fipk right now. the reason why i am looking at a converter is because i need the tranny rebuilt anyway.

any answers would be helpful, thank you!

you dont need anything else, however what gears do u have? 3.23's? it might be a good idea to go to 3.42 or 3.73's IMO...

i bought a 3500 from them and i can only get it to stall to 2000 before the brakes cant hold it or the tires start to spin and im sure that when i get new brakes and some drag radials on it then ill be able to stall it higher but other than that i am happy with there product
Thanks Jason
