question...

i couldnt find it with search, even though its prob been answered one way or another a million times...

ok, im getting my car from the shop soon, and its going to have a TR224/224-112 cam, spec 3 clutch/flywheel, stock driveshaft, strange 12 bolt w 4/10 gears...

tranny was rebuilt, but to stock specs... is there anything i should be worried about launching with MT 255 tires? i knwo anything can break at any moment, but... just tring to get others view on it...

Is your stock driveshaft aluminum? If so, that's probably your weak link.

ye aim guessing it was... if i just use it as it is... and just, intend to just let it go and when it does snap, just replace it, or can it f some things up once it snaps?

also, whats a good DS that is a decent price (not cheap, but not expensive)

If the driveshaft snaps on launch it shouldn't be a big deal other than pushing the car off the track. I bought my driveshaft from Denny's, great quality, good pricces and service.
