SLP Clutch kit install question... please help
The slp clutch kit comes with a throw out bearing attached to the Pressure plate via a retaining ring that keeps the bearing in place during installation.
Do you take that off the bearing after installation?
Sorry for the dumb question... first clutch install, and I am having a few problems and could really use some assistance.
Thanks in advance.

Re: SLP Clutch kit install question... please help
nope it all stay's together.. and the fork will slide over the t/o bearing after the tranny is installed... Good luck w/ your install..
Thanks for responding guys, I have already installed everything, but I am chasing down a gremlin. After the install, I wasn't able to put the car in gear with the engine running, but it worked fine with the car off.
After removing and reinstalling Everything twice, and replacing the M/S cyclinder twice (new GM unit) I got frustrated and took it to a transmission shop (fearing for my cars life.. untrust worthy in my area). After the run around I got my car back, it worked, slight mysterious leak from time to time, and the transmission wasn't as smooth.. it doesn't feel right. To notchy. And everything is new... tranny, flywheel & clutch system...
I have to admit this area is too advanced for me, so I am still in the learning process and I am still trying to figure out whats wrong. I might have Sam Strano have a look at it when hes installing a T2R for me
Thanks again guys, I appricate all the help
