Pressure bleeding the slave cylinder.

I just bought a new McLeod street twin, and a new GM slave cylinder/master cylinder set up. I took the GM master cylinder off and put the Mcleod one on that came with the clutch. I want to bleed it before I put it in, Mcleod recommends pressure bleeding the system. My two questions are this, what is the procedure for pressure bleeding this set up, and whats a decent tool to use, a Mityvac pump?

Anyone? How did everyone else bleed their clutch when they put in a Mcleod Street Twin?

Re: Pressure bleeding the slave cylinder.

I had the whole system out when I did mine. Filled up the resevour and worked the slave cylinder rod a few minutes then the master cylinder. Added more fluid as needed and did it again. I kept the components in their relative positions as they would be installed.

RES on top then Master cyl with the slave being lowest. Worked just fine .

Yes it will bleed out of the Res.Keep the cap off. You'll see a steady stream W/O air when its purged.
