Powertrax?

Has anyone used the Powertrax No-Slip Differential for a 4th Gen? The part # is PWT-92-0776-2885 from Summit. Im wanting to get a limited slip and some 3.73's for my 94 and I wanted to know if this one was any good.Any other suggestions? Thanks

don't know anyone who has used it in a 7.5" but they are pretty tuff in the trucks.

If you want to do more later just save for a New rear

I had one in my 3rd gen. About a week after the install i was thinking that i should have saved up and gotten a limited slip or posi rear. You will feel it engage and disengage, they "click" like crazy and parkinglots are a joke.

I love the lock right that is in my chevelle. I also set a lock right up in my buddies camaro and he loves it. I dont reccomend the No-slip because they have problems with there sychronizers and are much more expensive.

If you dont like the noise(which is not much) your skirt is blowing up in your face.

The noise in my thrid gen wasn't something you could just tune-out. it sounded like and felt like someone was slaming my rear with a sledge hammer everytime i made a 90 degree turn. i had a Powertrax no-slip locker.

After multiple calls to their tech line, one tech said that the gap thresholds might be out of wack with no way of adjusting them. put my stock open rear gears back in and sold the car.

once i bought my SS I discovered how a rear end was supposed to work. and the burnouts are sweeeeeeeeeeeet.
