well, my car is going to become a drag-only car, and i want to get it as fast as possible. I know having only one shift instead of two would probably make it faster, correct? Otherwise, what else should i do?

That thread was posed over in the Drag Racing Technique. Also, I'm a serious bracket racer (NHRA Summit Series) and I like the consistency of my 4L60E using the programmed shift points. Normally, I can run within about a hundredth of my dial with my car.
