Possible need for new or rebuilt T-56, point me the way.

Dumass me was careless and eager to get my car back on the road with the new engine in, and figured there would be some tranny fluid left and i'd just check it later....dead wrong. Actually it sounds more now like grinding, whining, chattering wrong. *sigh*
So i'm almost sure i need a new T-56 now, someone tell me where i can find a used one for a good price, or even better someone who can get me one and prepare it for a stroker motor? Phone numbers, experiences, websites would be very helpful, thanks!

Jordon Musser. He's not a sponser on the board, but he is on here all the time. Does rebuilds and sells parts.

D&D Performance. They do rebuilds and sell parts.

You can also do a search for Donato Engineering or Jon Donato. I don't think he has a website, but you can email him and he can answer all of your questions.

Cheapest way is out of a wrecked car. Just be sure you can return it if it doesn't work. You can get a new one from anyplace that sells GM parts. Close to $3K, last I checked. If you can find a good tranny rebuilder, there's nothing particularly exotic about the T56 and they should be able to do it.
