Is it possible to mate an LS1 tranny to an LT1?
Technically possible yes, but not the best idea, and normally frown'd apon...
First off, I think only a few (maybe 3-4) of the bolts line up, weakening the connection between the motor and tranny...
Secondly, you would need a few things specially modified like the TC and or the fleplate, because the input shaft is different between the 2 and requires an LS1 converter to drive it, and it or the flexplate need to be modified to attach it all...
Other then that, it would be like using duct tape to hold **** together, it works, but isn't the best and won't hold together forever, but it will technically go together with work...
