Pinion seal install help
Pinion seal install help
The seal on the front of my pumpkin was leaking. So last weekend I changed it out. The old seal was tore up pretty bad from a lot of movement from the yoke or whatever you call it. I replaced it with a new seal from GM. Used a 2" socket to get it in as far as it would go till it bottomed out. Then got some pvc and got the seal in all the way. Now it appears that there is a very small leak. If I have to replace the seal again soon, are there any tools or special tips anyone has about the install process? I also have the BMR direct bolt in adjustable torque arm. If the angle is adjusted wrong on it, could that cause the driveshaft or andgle of the rear end to creat excessive wear on the seal making it leak?
Thanks very much:

Update. Went out and moved the car today, there was a nice little pool of rear end fluid underneath the car. I guess I will need to change the seal on the front of the pumpkin again. It doesn't look like it is coming from the cover either. Any tips would be appreciated.
