people with 2800 stall

I want honesty here. Did you notice a signifigant decrease in gas mileage after you installed your 2800. Can you feel a pretty big difference in the driveability over stock? In your opinion, was your car more fun as a dd to drive before, or after the stall? thanks

I have done the 3500 stall in a 9.5 one of ours and I like it tight converters still feel quite decent at light throttle . cruising no difference due to lock up , launch change amazing and fuel efficiency at low speeds slightly lower but not real bad.
A converter can really wake the car up! best investment you can make really for more GO!

depending on your driving habits the loss may would be quite small, Particularly if you a quick launcher , I know some people try to take off easy with hihr stalls and stay in stall to long and that will eat the fuel up quick .

Kind of depends on how much city driving you do too. Don't forget the converter locks up at about 42 mph, so after that it really doesn't matter. That is if you are still running a lockup converter. And don't forget, what rear gear you have helps determine what the new converter feels like and or gas mileage.

With my 3200 stall lock-up converter, I was getting between 16-18 MPG with a 12.0 second, ported head, CC305 car. Once a stall converter goes into lock-up, it will get the same fuel economy as a stock stall converter, because it stops slipping/stalling.
