What question? Everything looks like it was answered as far I could tell except for my questions to you about clearing the air as to the problems you were actually having...

Seriously though Gary, what is still unanswered? Ask it again, it might have been missed/overlooked in all the mud slinging...

and why did my stock GM 4L60E last 10-11 years of racing and beating on it and Nitrous runs and CPT's lasted 6k miles with only one nitrous run and one trip to the track?

why dont you start answering some direct questions for once, you seem to allways avoid giving allot of people straight answers.

like why is your Race trans listed as having the beast sunshell on your own web page , and when mine was taken apart it wasn't in my trans?


john, these have been copied and pasted from my responses earlier in this thread that was done by Frank after these questions were asked was him calling names and being un professional, I have not been mudslinging and calling names he has.

even his supporters like ProjectZ28 agreed that he was out of line yet he did not even appologize or even have the common courtesy to try to explain anything or even respond to my private emails that I sent him b4 this even started ,

and I know you mean well and are a nice guy John so don't take offense to this, but shouldnt Frank being doing this and not you?

I think this was answered.... the converter is what caused the pump failure, the pump failure caused the trans failure.

I am a Frank supporter and I probably always will be. But I can't answer for him I can only give you my opinion... maybe he doesnt want to answer you anymore?

I think he answered this too, he said you trans was built before the web page was created. He also said when he built yours he didnt use "the beast" in a race trans unless you requested it.

Brian showed you that those were answered and they are in the posts earlier as well, as for why Frank isn't answering these it's because last I talked to him about this thread he was done with it and was upset it got out of hand and said he wasn't going to respond to them anymore. I think that is somewhat good don't you, considering how the first few responces from both of you back and forth were?

When I said it might have been overlooked in the mudsligging that was because most of these questions were answered in the thread that also had the Dumbass comment. And I agree with Brian and almost everyone out there who is a supporter or not, that that was un needed and unprofessional, but remeber this was after you were kinda atacking him and also made comments about you feel good he had to loos money trying to help you with this problem and he took that as a personal attack just like any of us probably would have.

And as you know from your side you are pissed, and wanted help and answers, but from Franks point of view he answered your questions and you kept asking them over and over again not getting it, on top of that he was trying to help you with the tranny, ordered the pump and all, and again got screwed, so he was pissed to. And we all see on the first 2 pages of this what happens when 2 people who are both pissed and typing (typing being know for it's inability to show feeling and causing more conflicts through misinterpretation) to each other...

Some times others have to interject to bring both points of view out and kinda calm the situation down and I feel this is what Brian and I were trying to do, I know I am friends with Frank and I know I talked to you online and on the phone a few times, so I thought I knew both of you enough to step in the middle. I hope you understand the answers to your questions from earlier and if you need any clarification please just ask...

I understand your point of view John, and since I got bad service and treated the way I did by Frank I want everyone else who is looking to buy the products he sells and endorses to know what to expect from him and his company and is way's of doing business.

and this is ALL his fault and could have been avoided had he just taken 5 mins out of his busy schedule to answer my emails privately , that would have been in his and my best interests,

it's really too bad that he has to have you guys do his job, I don't see any other board sponsers on this board calling people names and having thier "friends " do there talking. espcially when no mud was slung at him, he did that all on his own

I don't want to argue this with you but there was some mud slung towards him, I hope admit that. Just stating bad costomer service in someone elses thread is mudslinging...

I can remember many threads where LE, Bret, and Joe O have gotten into pissing matches and their customers and "friends" have gotten into it. Plus many others like it so they do happen, I have also seen threads where people go on and bash venders and get all their other customers (for and against) yelling back and forth, and a few where the venders got into it. You have to remember most venders on here are car guys first and business owners second and only started tose businesses to help out other car guy's...

OK, Gary. Let's get all this straight. i have answered ALL your questions! You just keep asking the same one's. The sun shell has been explained several times, and I DID explain it to you in a personal e-mail. I reponded to all your questions and complaints! You kept asking the same questions! The same one's that John and Brian have addressed here.
Where was the bad service? Didn't I offer to fix your transmission if you sent it back? You didn't want to send it back, eventhough it would've cost you nothing! Was your transmission/converter out of the 6 month/year warranty?
Did I buy you a pump that you wrote a bad check for?

Now, about the "Dumbass" comment. Maybe Dumbass was a little unproffesional. If you don't want to be called one, stop acting like one.

I went out of my way to try to help you. I answered your personal e-mails. I've explained everything about what happened/what parts were in your transmission.

Thankfully, all my other customers/potential customers see you for what you are, and see this situation for what it is.

As for ProTorque? You do realize that they build converters for some of the quickest street cars on the planet, right? We're talking 6 second street cars. I'm not going to sell/endorse a product I don't have faith in. You claim I make so much money off the converters? What did your converter list for? $745! How much did you pay/ $620! As I've already stated (you'd know this if you'd actually read this, instead of continuing to whine about it) My car went 12.82 with this exact same type converter!...In a bolt-on car! I sold you a converter that may have had a manufacturing flaw in the hub. ProTorque doesn't make the hub. BUT...It still went 6 months past it's warranty. My head/cam/stock bottom end car has went 12.0 with a ProTorque converter. I never sold you anything that I knew or thought was inferior!

This is the last post I'll make on this thread! I can't keep answering the same questions or explaining the same thing. No, I don't have to call you names. You're doing a fine job of making yourself look like one.

Frank its not the point that the converter lasted outside of warranty its the fact that in made my car run slower and t hat it caused my trans to be damaged "luckily for you" 6 months out of warranty , the measure of a good part is not only how long it lasts out side of warranty it is also how it performs, and I don't care if the predsident of the USA's th it all I know is mine went slower and so did a few other of your customers cars (I won't mention thier Names for there sake not yours) but you know very well who they are.

ANd the sunshell was supposed to be "the beast", I pai extra for the 4L65E front support , from the first time I read your website you had "the beast" posted up as what you used in the race trans! I specifcally remember t hat because I spoke to other trans builders about it b4 I decided to go with you and they all strongley suggested that part to be used so I had a good Idea of what needed to be used in a good Trans build. unfortunetly no one knows whats in the se transmission until they take one apart after it fails on a near stock car like mine!! when my stocker had no probs toughing the beating for 10+ years!

and you did not answer my last 2 email's b4 this thread was even going .

you say you bought a pump to help me ??? I sent a check and 6 weeks later I had to call you!! only to find out that there was a mistake on my part with the date on the check, so who the hell know if you did or didn't buy one, that sounds like great CPT service to me !!!

and I am sooo sorry if letting people know about my expirience in dealing with you was a total waste of my $$ and time is being a Dumbass, and I guess that would make you a what??? but I don't have to sink to your level and say it people who are reading can use thier imagination.
