ooh ooh that smell...

Smells like transmission fluid.. Whenever im just chillen there driving ill come to a hill after a stop sign or red light. SO ill go up the hill a tabout 2500 rpms for a little while until i reach the top of the hill and I can let off. this is usually accompanied by the smell of transmission fluid. I have a guage and the fluid never rarely hits 160 (on the cool return line) so I dont think its burning.. Any ideas why i smeel it? no leaks either

the converter locks up just above 40mph just fine and will come out of lockup once i drop below 40mph...except sometimes after I first start it up and go it wont lock up until i get around 50 or something.. this usually occurs when it is very cold out. Ill check the lines tomorrow
