Exclamation Okay need with with rear calipers

This may be a stupid question but i've never done this so i don't wanna mess anything up. I'm going to remove my rear calipers completely to paint them. When i disconnect everything, what do i need to do to keep all the brake fluid from pouring out when i disconnnect the line? I've changed the pads before but never completely taken the calipers off the car?
Any help is appreciated!

A snug fitting plastic or rubber cap will keep the fluid in; just remember to bleed your brake system after reinstalling the calipers.

just curious, how are you prepping your calipers to paint them (i.e. cleaning with what and sanding imperfections out?). are you gonna use the brake caliper paint or get them powdercoated? lets see some pics when finished!

Re: Okay need with with rear calipers

I'm going to sand them with 400 grit to get them slightly smooth, they don't have to be 100% perfect and then i'm painting them silver with actual automotive paint like you would spray the car itself. then i'm clearing them with "fast clear" which is like concrete when it dries. I know someone that painted their valve covers like this and they held up just fine so i figured the heat won't bother them. SHould look killer when i'm done. And yeah i'll post pics.
