okay i need answers

So ive used the search about a million times and only pulled up outdated threads due to the fact that GM likes to change things a lot. SO i need some answers...

I have established that my rear trans mount is broken and i need to replace it so here are my questions:

1. How do i check other mounts to make sure their okay?

2. I dont want to get a poly mount so whats the deal with the 1LE does it not exist?

3.If i get the LS1 mount and that bolt will it go right in?

4. Most importantly... WHERE do i buy these things? Any link or store name would help because i have been all over google.

Any answers are greatly appreciated

Have you looked at Shoebox's pages? He has part numbers and typical discount prices for many common LT1 parts. He has the names of discount dealers that don't screw you with ridiculous shipping charges like GMpartsdirect, and he has a very good comparison of the stock, 1LE and ES tranny mounts.

thank you for that information. I heard that the 1LE is basically the new standard for stock mounts and that its not that great and one should go with the ls1. What are your feelings on this?

I don't know anything about the LS1 mount.

Why not the ES poly? I have one that I bought 8 years ago when my car still had the T56. Its been in the car under a TH400 and now under a TH400+GV setup, sitting behind 800HP, with no problems at all.
