OBD1 Highest Stall Converter?

Want to get a new stall, but from what i found using the search button was that there seems to be a limit to the OBD1 computer and higher stall speeds, but I couldn't find a thread that said exactly what the limit is.

So, what is the highest stall I can get for my 95Z without getting reprogramed?

from what i understand, 2800 is about max before you hit the dreaded 1-2 wot won't shift problem.

It's hit or miss. I have a 3200 Edge and it does fine.
